That's exactly what it is. Pinellas County (St. Pete/Tampa) isn't physically closing beaches but they've called off their regular 4th of July celebrations (along with Sarasota, Clearwater, and Lakeland).

Where is best place to find out most recent information regarding closures etc?

My only concern is having to quarantine in FL after visiting there in a few weeks

He went back on that and caved to backlash from mostly big city liberals aka people who might vote him out in 2 years.

The thing is, he didn’t do enough for them to stop bashing him and now he’s pissed off a lot of his conservative base.

Who will force you to quarantine? Nobody is tracking people's movements.
