There'll be a day, and you'll know when it's the right day, and cracking that bottle open w/ your pops in the cemetary or with a group of his friends that are still around will be one of the better days of your life.

Hanging onto memories and cherishing people in our thoughts isn't a bad thing. It makes for great guidance and perspective in life.

Right, because you can't get on your car and drive 5-10 mins and get a bottle if you need it.

About as exciting as finding a $5 bill in the dryer.

But whiskey stops "getting better with age" once bottled. Its not like wine or champagne.

Now if it were in a barrel, that would be a different story.

Finding a weed stash is even better.

After my beloved Godfather died, it was my job to clear out his small but immaculate apartment. I came upon a sizable container marked "Herbes de Provence". Knowing he traveled to many countries it could have been a local popular French spice blend.

But knowing my uncle even better, it was indeed the good stuff and he even had a bunch of rolling papers to go with it. Thanks Uncle G!!

Half a bottle of Hager is glorious? Your life is sad.
