Don't care who starts it, just somebody start it as soon as they start to make the announcement so I can tune in to the mayhem. I don't want to have to watch the news all day.

A clerk at the marriage license desk said on Monday that she was surprised that Officer Wilson went there, as opposed to another county or state — possibly Las Vegas, she said — where he could have filled out paperwork with a greater guarantee of privacy.

She could have just kept her fricking mouth shut.

Is GEAUXMedic good at making threads like this and keeping them updated?

If so, I'm all for it.

Well that sucks. In other news, some dumbass shot herself in the head with her own gun while squawking and wailing for justice.

"we're ready for Ferguson!"

No. No you are not.

The protests in Ferguson, Mo., have been bad for business in Ferguson. No surprise.

But they haven’t been quite as damaging to sales as perhaps feared, according to new data obtained by The Washington Post.

What emerges from an analysis of local sales tax revenues is a complicated picture that goes beyond rampant speculation or sweeping claims of economic ruin. The demonstrations in Ferguson appear to be hurting local shops and stores, but the effects are not equally felt, and they seem to wax and wane.

In August, when the protests kicked off, sales tax revenue in Ferguson fell off a cliff, plummeting 24 percent compared to the same month in 2013. The demonstrations began Aug. 9, following the fatal shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown by a Ferguson police officer. August saw the heaviest and most sustained clashes between police and protesters. Several businesses were looted and suffered severe damage.

I have friends who live not too far from there.

I'm all about the drama, but at the same time, I'm hoping that they can contain the violence to a small area. I don't want to see innocent people hurt.

It's a shite storm that's impossible to look away from.

I've been farting around all day. Gotta get to my workout and chores so I can have a beer later and watch these idiots "protest" later.
