How would you get one to track a particular human scent? Can they be trained especially for rescue purposes? Awesome story, beautiful dog.

As far as I know, you give the dog a piece of clothing from the person you want them to track, and they can follow the scent of that person for many miles.

She definitely looks more like a Black and Tan coonhound to me. All the media articles call her a bloodhound.
