Jerry Lee Lewis resides in Mississippi.
"Tennessee" Williams, Alex Box, & Troy H. Middleton were from Mississippi.
William Faulkner, Eudora Welty, John Grisham, William Alexander Percy, Shelby Foote...
One President, & numerous Miss America Winners...
However, Satchmo, one of my favorites, was from Louisiana.

Correct, he's lived in Mississippi since 1972.
WC Handy is from AlaBama; Mississippi Delta gave him the blues.
