Agreed, my grandfather gave everything except property away before he passed. He did a will that is extremely clear and designated two executors.

My piece of shite uncles have been contesting it since day one.

I wouldn't take a dime from the man and spent the last few years just listening to him tell stories because he was a better man than I can ever hope to be.

They spent the last 10 years only coming around when they needed something, and now they want more than what he thought they deserve.

I'm leaving everything to the best kid. Screw dividing property and assets.

It would help if you mentioned what state the succession was filed in. Laws vary by state.
