Before covid, the msm was begging for a recession. Every night on the news they were talking about a recession was looming because the economy was doing so well. They tried to wish cast us into a recession to hurt trump

So this is the part where we pretend that you and your ilk didn't want to shut down the world? That's the game we will play today with the mentally ill lefties here? LOLOLOL
See kids, this is what happens to your brain when you think there are 72 genders and men can have babies.

Wasn't just media. It was actual politicians and other heroes of the left like Bill Maher. Every time they said something like this, their retarded voters would clap like seals.
Fast foward years later, we not only have what they wanted, their retarded, racist pedo is making it worse, and now they point at Trump.

We do, and I hope they're all feeling it in their pockets. I hope their time pumping gas is great and their trips to the grocery.
They deserve all of it

Now do 2016,2017,2018,2019?
You blaming Trump for 2020 because the mass hysteria of that year was created by Democrats and MSM with lockdowns and fear mongering to get Trump out of office. You people are so predictable.

Bill Maher, a classical liberal, is considered right wing, and philosophically cozied up to MAGA by today’s far left.

I didn't want to shut down the world. While you and the rest of the poors were celebrating $1.40/gal. gasoline, I was losing value. frick cheap gas. I don't burn that shite, I sell it.
Let's also remember who gets 'credit' for the price of gasoline being so low in 2020. Do we not also blame him for how we got there?

WTF does any of that have to do with Trump crashing the economy in 2020? You have ADHD or something?

Many large corporations and much of Wall Street were bracing for a pull-back. The economy was running red hot, the decade-long bull market run was historic, but many feared equities were overvalued, and most people thought the growth simply could not persist.

To be fair liberals played an enormous role in this also.
Sure they did. But the buck stops with the president - whether I voted for him or not.
Can you imagine what 'conservatives' would say if Biden had presided over that shite storm? You don't think every single Trump voter wouldn't be placing ALL of the blame squarely on Biden's shoulders? Of course they would, and they'd be largely correct. I'm just being consistent.
DISCLAIMER: I voted for neither Trump nor Biden.

We are talking about all the left news outlets fear mongering and hoping for a recession. They wanted it for 1 thing only and it was to take down the guy in office. Nothing more, nothing less

Eh, I think they wanted more hurt than just that. I think a more complete Socialist government is their goal. Trump was just in the way and showing a large portion of their constituency that freedom is the way to go. That was unacceptable.

Trump fricked up the Covid response no doubt but it would’ve been even worse had a Biden or Obama been in charge.
I think the Covid response would have been much less. There would have been an emphasis and hand-washing and hygiene, etc and life would have gone on. The fact Trump was in charge was a bonus.
It ended up being the perfect storm for libs because of the perceived need for mail-in voting.

You sell gas and you are cheering for democrats? You are even dumber than I thought.
I’m glad you are here. People need to see what mental illness looks like.

Trump was fighting a democratic congress the entire way. He left COVID policy to the states, democrats are allergic to state’s rights. All you have to do is look what the democrat states did compared to Texas and Florida.

Fed into LOWERING the interest rate in the middle of an expanding economy - thus keeping the bond market in the shitter.
I guess you weren't a fan of Obama either?
I don't recall Obama pressuring the Fed to lower rates during expansion, he was trying to bring the country out of its worst recession since the 30s.
Obama's problem was that his policies never allowed the economy to grow such that it precipitated a rate raise from the fed - thus keeping the bond market in the shitter. But I wasn't as interested in the bond market back than as I was as I approached retirement this year. While the conservative in me appreciated the slow and steady growth in the economy under Obama, it was just poorly timed. We needed Trump's approach in 2009-10, and Obama's afterward.
When Trump took office and mashed the economic accelerator to the floor, it was ill timed and in part responsible for the inflationary period we're currently experiencing.

Lol. I’m no Donnie fanboi here, but this is just dumb. We are experiencing inflation because we printed several trillion dollars and plowed it into an economy with a supply chain that was in slumber. This drove demand through the roof at a time when supplies were limited. Secondarily, rates were slashed, which enabled people to access cheap capital, pumping more demand into aforementioned constrained supply side. Other nations, key cogs in the global supply chain, forced stringent shutdowns well beyond what was experienced here. This further damaged supply side recovery as demand grew and grew.
This went on for two years before anything was done. In the middle of this, a major player in the global energy market started a war that turned the EU upside down and helped drive the price of energy globally, which impacts everything made and sold, through the roof.
