Check the GFCI in all bathrooms. My master bath has a gfci but is controlled by the gfci in the other bathroom. Go figure.
Both of them are controlled by the gfci in the garage under the circuit breaker box. Even more confusing.

Thanks for all the suggestions and warnings... yeah... maybe smart to wait for the electrician.
A few things:
1.
WTF is that?
2. Yes, I did check all the breakers... nothing was tripped, all the switches are in the 'on' position.
3. I thought a wire maybe loose in the switch panel, so maybe that is all it'll take to fix, but since I don't really understand half of the suggestions... maybe I should leave it alone.
Thanks

See Baldona's post for a nice diagram. Just go to every outlet and make sure it isn't tripped. Just hit the reset button if it is. Please check all of the ones in your house before you call someone out and pay them $100+ just to push a damn button. Check bathrooms, kitchen, garage, laundry room and outdoors for the GFCI outlets.

You know it just occur to me that
GFCI=ground fault circuit interrupter
... I'll just wait for the electrician...

Did you at least try to reset the gfi's starting in the bathroom you are having problems ...
There is two push buttons on the gfi one says trip the other says reset , at least try that and if no luck get someone with experience out .....
