Electric Water Heater question

Thermostats and elements tested fine with multimeter. Red overheat button clicked when I "reset" it....so I'm assuming it was tripped. Do I need to go ahead and replace elements and/or thermostats, or just wait and see if it trips again?

If you've already taken the time to empty the whole thing out I might go ahead and replace the elements. Otherwise fired up and see if it works
