If he’s just shooting for pre trial and has a clean record, hiring an expensive attorney seems wasteful.

It is a waste. Save a few thousand and just go to the DA’s office and sign up yourself. You don’t need a lawyer. It’s gonna be a fun year for you with many rapings of your wallet. To be fair, there’s plenty of billboards and commercials that warn everyone.

having a lwyer for pre trial is a huge waste, dont do it, it is the easiest money lawyers make. you can do mit all yourself
