not enough shutdown area either. Many cars even back in the day would go completely off the property and cross the road that runs behind the back of the track. The last few races they had when the nitro cars would run cops would stop traffic.

there are still houses there just not directly in line with the back of the track. They are off to the right and left but not by much.
