One of my favorite YouTubers. Donut has a good bit of knowledge, being a former police officer. Usually does videos on shootings where cops get a lot of heat for situations that media blow up before the facts are out. This one details more on the actual situation and how the cops responded in those critical minutes.

Wow, they did amazing work. Maybe some former military guys in there but also looks to be just excellent preparation and training.

Also appears that the school staff did a good job getting the majority of people in the building to safe shelter.

One a side note, it seems to me that if schools had camera systems that could be remotely viewed by a commanding officer they could get to threat in a much more efficient manner.

Absolutely correct. This should be mandatory viewing for all police forces in the US. There needs to be metal doors in these schools as well and windows that cannot be breached. Worth every penny to save these children. And don’t give me the “we don’t have the money bullshite”. We are wasting it recklessly every day and have nothing to show for it

I’m surprised nobody has published a think piece describing how this illustrates our institutional racism because the police ran into gunfire to protect the mostly cracker private school students while Uvalde and others stand outside.

You know if school boards or whatever they call them in other states put more money in security for schools than the arse hats that are on these boards, this would likely happen a lot less, just saying.
