I've had two pups who had epilepsy. They both would have seizures every now and then. There was no rhyme nor reason to when and where they had them. They were much like you described, lasting a few minutes followed by them being tired. They were fine otherwise.
Get your pup checked out because it could be something else. My chihuahua that had them died an old man of nearly 15, and the seizures had nothing to do with it.

I have a kitten who started having seizures in June when she turned about 14 months. All the sudden she started having them and they were really bad.
Make sure to have your phone ready to recorded video and keep an excel file so you know frequency, length and have a record of other details. It will come in handy.
Got her an MRI and she had some light in the frontal lobe or something and it was determined to be either epilepsy or something called feline hippocronal necrosis which is basically a death sentence that is so rare you can barely google it.
She's on a regime of Keppra an phenobarbital every 12 hours and I'm trying CBD from holistapet to see if it helps at all.
Hopefully your pup doesn't have any seizures any time soon, but this is probably the regime if it continues.
Note: Don't get an MRI unless the seizures are very frequent. It's probably not going to lead to any info that changes the outcome.
Good luck. It's really hard to watch something you care about go through that.
