Does open cell foam insulation need to come out?

I know closed cell is good and recommended by fema as it does not absorb water. I had 13" of water for 12 hours, does it need to come out? I read that it dosent wick water. So even though it dosent hold much water, it takes along time for it to dry.

Good question.
I would think if they say it doesn't wick water then just run dehumidifiers till dry.
JMO.

If it's saturated then I'm going to guess it needs to come out. Sounds like a major PITA though. But you don't want a damn sponge sitting in your walls.
