Does open cell foam insulation need to come out?

I know closed cell is good and recommended by fema as it does not absorb water. I had 13" of water for 12 hours, does it need to come out? I read that it dosent wick water. So even though it dosent hold much water, it takes along time for it to dry.

Good question.
I would think if they say it doesn't wick water then just run dehumidifiers till dry.

If it's saturated then I'm going to guess it needs to come out. Sounds like a major PITA though. But you don't want a damn sponge sitting in your walls.
