Minecraft is legit for thinking mind, it actually helps the brain a bit. A fun seed to start in on the Bedrock Edition -1025886865. You will spawn near a mansion, which is also above one of the largest mineshafts I have ever seen.
Fortnite is there to kill your brain. There are so many better games to play, but Fortnite has a good marketing model. Kind of like big tobacco and soft drink companies.
If you have never played Fortnite, do not start. If you have, try to quit.

I only play the 20v20 game mode. I'd spent hundreds of hours playing pubg before playing fortnite, and the BR genre no longer interests me. Same with Overwatch (I only play the FFA mode.)

I'll often play it with my daughter or nephew. It's a fun little game, but kind of monotonous after a while.

Nephew came over last weekend and downloaded it onto my ps4 that I never turned on anymore. He showed me how to play and now Ive been playing for an hour every night for the past week.

I agree it is growing monotonous though so Ill probably be putting the ps4 away again soon.
