It's behind the Grand theater in Kenner, old run down and abandoned. I'd love to possibly go in there, see what it's like, anyone know the story behind it?

Not sure what you are asking? It used to be a movie theater.. older style that didn't have stadium seating. When new one was built it closed down. I haven't been out that way in a long time. It sounds like they have never tore it down. Whole esplanade mall area except target and new movie theater is a dump. It never recovered after Katrina.

It closed down because the new one or did it close before the new one got there? Idk, the building is just eerie as shite.

It closed because it was a dump that was not getting good attendance with the two palaces in the area and also because they had broken ground on the new theater.

It's just a normal old movie theater. The only weird thing is that it doesn't have stadium seating like another poster mentioned. It's only eerie if you make it eerie.

If you want a real adventure, go check out the abandoned Grand theater in NO East.

Which theater are you talking about? I thought the old one was leveled to build the new one

Edit: Nevermind I see it now
