That seems unusual if you're not leaving a bunch of food out or leaving your trash cans exposed. We found a couple recently but my wife had been getting into a bad habit of leaving dishes in the sink or dirty cutting boards on the counter. Both issues have been remedied.

Assuming its not because you are a slob: Mix borax (20Mule Team detergent booster), flour, peanut butter and syrup. Use a stick of some kind to put the bait all over the place, like above door frames, on window ledges, inside cabinets, inside plugin boxes. This takes some time. The stuff will stick and harden. If you baited it well, the roaches will die and not come back.

this shite works wonders, you will be shocked if mixed well how fast this gets rid of the issue.

I used borax, sugar, veg oil, and alittle flour (from an actual thread here years ago) and put the mixture in little plates around the affected areas.

In one week they were gone, I could go into my kitchen at 2am and flip on the light and not one of those frickers were even in there.

This stuff works even better.
