I grew up in the 80’s in the country. I didn’t even know pee wee football existed until I was about 25 years old.

I don’t see the point of it. Other sports, including flag football, offer more positives for kids that age.

My kids do school, and sports too. One of them is really good at school, the other one is a typical 9th grade rapscallion punk.

They're both studs at their chosen sports, but that'll end when high school's over.

I met with a high school counselor a few months ago, who is a former college coach. He mentioned that all bets are off regarding grades and test scores if my kid is recruited by colleges. My response was "yeah, that's not gonna happen." He immediately replied "so, you're a realist."
