Do you work for a big corporation?

Climbing the corrupt ladder? Work for a company we've all heard of?
I recently completed a move to Seattle from DC, and I start my new job with a rather large company next week. First time I have worked for a company anywhere near this size.
Has anyone else made this kind of jump? Was it scary, or did everything just go smoothly.

Nope and frick that dI'd it once and I'll never work for a huge company again.
Eta I spent 5 years with Flour Daniel way back in the day it was alright but there were to many politics involved for me cause I don't work and play well with others

Typically, the bigger the company, the bigger the opportunity, but the bigger the everyday hassle. Like being required to go to "sensitivity" training.

been there, done that, never doing it again. the benefits were excellent but all the bullshite wasn't worth dealing with.

Been working for Joe's for over ten years now. Benefits are great but the bullshite is something else. Probably would still do it if I had a time machine.

I work for a decent sized company, one of the industry leaders. Its definitely a new and challenging experience.

Union Carbide/Dow Chemical for 38 years but my ladder did not have any rungs!! I did get to work in Malaysia, Texas, West Virginia, Canada, and Saudi as well as Louisiana and the work was enjoyable and the people were great to work with!

Technically, I work for a LLP, not a Corporation.
But if you disregard that, then yes I do work for a big corporation. Our headcount is 175,000+ worldwide.

That's awesome. My previous job took me from DC, New York, and London. New job won't really have me living anywhere else, but I will have to do a medium to heavy load of traveling in the next couple of years.
