This. We used to pay a mobile car wash service but even then, our two youngest would junk it back up in days.
Losing battle with kids until they’re old enough to where you can make them clean it.

Mine is clean, but it has some caps, a windbreaker, gloves, an umbrella and a few other things on the back seat. The console storage has plenty of hand wipes and eye glass wipes. writing pads, pens, an extra pair of glasses, Altoids, an extra phone charging cord and other things. Trunk has a bike rack, a 3'X2' plastic storage bin with some tools, ropes, towels & things. Also a big bucket with five or six different spray products for the car, a spay nozzle and a big sponge. An insulated backpack that holds a six pack. Two insulated tumblers are stored in it. Pretty sure my folding seat walking stick is still in it too. My earmuffs I wear when I go to the shooting range are in the trunk too. The car is clean, and organized, but cluttered. I'm an old bachelor that doesn't care. I like having all of the stuff I need for short road trip or just heading out to a ballgame. I'd have much more in it if I was still working.

My vehicles are like my house and desk. Disheveled but I know where everything is.
