Here's one.. we have no efficient way of removing pharmaceuticals from drinking water supplies. Anyone with a brain can find out where the major water intakes in this country are.. and they aren't exactly guarded.

Melt portions of Greenland or Antarctica.

By depleting the oxygen rich ozone layer that insulates the ice cap it would begin to melt. That would temporarily raise sea levels, while increasing temperatures that would support plant life. That plant life would produce more oxygen that would replenish the ozone layer that would render that area frozen again. It's a long term sort of plan that kind of backfires.

Why is it oxygen rich? Because there's no living critters there and less respiration?

Less oxygen doesn't necessarily mean more CO2...

Example, water vapor is a greenhouse gas...but here's the water vapor concentration at the poles....

Basically, it sort of pools there through atmospheric circulation.

Can you provide an article for this?

ozone isn't "oxygen"

Oxygen is O2

Ozone is O3 and is in much less supply than O2.

That's why I was confused.

If anything from that article, it taught me that it's easier to release atmospheric toxins at the poles if I want to do it in a broad area at one time.

In the wiki it explains how the sun's rays split the O2 molecules and stuff starts happening.

It clear that you don't like my idea.

Maybe we can get a bunch of Flex Seal and some spray foam and seal up a geyser or something?

Haha. I like your idea. We just have to figure out how to do it on the cheap.

But to the geyser...

What is geoterrorism? It's a lot of things. If we stop up Old Faithful, that's vandalism...it's terrorism to use it as a deadly device.

If we stop it up, then it will eventually burst, and probably when people are near it figuring out what the heck happened!

But how do we boil people to death without boiling ourselves to death and making our blocking product not boil off?
