I don't, but its not because of the germs. I lose change before I would ever spend it and I pay with a card as often as possible.

I have been putting my change in a 5 gallon water jug for years. I figure that when filled it will be about $3000 worth of change that I will cash in and spend on hookers and blow.

I pay cash for a lot of things and do carry a few coins. If I don't have the exact change I give the cashier the coins necessary to get nothing but quarters back.

If an item is $5.37 I hand them $6.12.

I dont have much at a time. I dont spend it it goes into a 5 gallon water bottle. Working on bottle # 2.
