Not since the Crips tumblr had a meltdown over it. They thought saying "blooded" excluded the Latin Kings and Crips of the Military

Salty just means "experienced". Salt from the ocean and sweat changed the color of the fatigues or cammies to let everyone the hierarchy. The old Marines had the lighter shade of cammies.
