There is no longer any separation...or need for an intermediary. The temple curtain which would only allow priests into the Holy of Holies is no longer necessary.


Mt 27:51 happened after John 20:21-23. Jesus gave the apostles the authority to forgive or retain sins in His name after he was resurrected. Another instance is St. Paul stating he could forgive in the name of Christ. 2 Cor 5. Also, it's evident in James 5:14-17. But, James is a book Protestants like to ignore since it states faith alone is dead. Faith needs to be with works, but that's a different subject.
