Imagine you train all year for a marathon. Running daily, interval training, etc. Race day comes and you set your pace, trucking along, and next to you comes a 70 year old man pushing a guy in a heavy wheelchair lapping you like you’re at a brisk walk.

If anyone needs a statute, it’s him. Great man and father. RIP Mr. Hoyt. You were an inspiration.

I remember the first time I saw a video of him completing an iron man with his son. That one will cause you to tear up a bit. Was sad to hear this.
