There is a gas shortage in Dallas? I just went and filled up as normal by my house in Austin last night.

The first three stations I stopped at in the city were all out. I came to Irving and filled up at a 7/11 on O'Connor.

Rockwall and further east has plenty.
Any news on Wal-Mart, Sam's, and Costco? I imagine they'd be the last to run out but I have no clue.

All four gas stations near me (Frankford Rd. & PGBT) are out except one.
I am definitely going to leave at lunch today. Sitting on 1/4 tank. Otherwise im working from home for the next week.

Out of everything? Most places I drove past on my way out had premium still.

Urban sprawl dude. So many commuters driving 30 or more minutes to work everyday. They hear of a shortage and they all go to fill up

Again, Austin would face the same issue if people were "freaking out" and filling up.
It begs the question why Dallas folks are acting like idiots. Not to mention they are 3 hours further away from the affected area than we are.

I'm in line right now. Been in line almost an hour. Guy just came over and told me they are rationing to 10 gallons per car and they pump it themselves. I've got about 40 cars in front of me.

Yep. The news came out at said we might run out of gas this weekend causing everyone to go out and make sure we ran out today.

At least it is only 15 minutes waiting. I sat in a gas line for over 3 hours in Mississippi after Katrina.
Welp, saw the guy say one hour. That sucks.

Lunch at Mitsuwa on Legacy in Plano. Gas at the RaceTrac across the street.
