I know my sister and niece have evacuated, but am having trouble getting thru to them. How much water did that subdivision take and is it receding yet?

Saw that Brett reporter out there yesterday. They had boats going down plantation ave, and I bet it has not changed. GL to them

Thanks Coach Rob...it is very frustrating being so far away and not being able to help.

Was in there yesterday. Houses built above 83 flood by a couple feet had 2-3 ft in them.

Older houses had water to the roof eaves.

In the culdisac? It is low back there base case.

All of plantation was under water. Not one house dry that I saw. There were a few rescue boats in and out of there all day. I pulled my parents out about 10am

Fwiw. They were taking people from the plantation area to neighborhood Walmart on Vincent. Then to the suma center at satsuma exit.
The bridge on Juban gave out though which was there travel route

Vincent to Petes hwy was actually dry. From plantation ave. But all neighborhoods on both side were wet.

My dad lives further down Plantation Ave. a ways on Belle Helene, I know they got water but is there any way to get to this area tomorrow?

I have a boat if I need to take it to get to it.

I'm in Plantation, last I saw a pic of my house it had 7 feet in it. I waded through it at 4 feet. Pics just posted off Arlington shows approximately 10 feet high. It's bad.

Sorry to hear that man, "supposedly", the water had dropped significantly from yesterday in that area. I'm just hoping it's low enough to get there and start working.

We should be able to get in tomorrow. I'm going to try again this evening to get in.
