Problem is, pville is surrounded by both Gonzales/BR and it is only a matter of time before the plague hits and wrecks that area

Somewhat agree, some of the cheap/shitty neighborhoods will be inevitable, but there will be core areas (see expensive) that will be fine for years.

Why would you say Denham is significantly better than Prairieville? I can understand someone saying they liked the area because they were closer to their meth dealer or whatever, but to say it is way better is laughable.

I live in Shenandoah and I have no problems whatsoever with the elementary school... the middle school and high school are a different story.

I went to Woodlawn and it wasn't bad. Although from what I've heard, it's gotten a lot worse.

Not true. The new City of St George is going to fix every problem that exists in the area. Doing so without raising taxes to boot.

Or at least that is what I hear!!!

I really recommend living somewhere where your daily commute isn't greatly impacted by a wreck on the interstate. In some cities the interstate is the best option. Not Baton Rouge. It's basically shut down like once a week between 4pm and 6pm.

So be mindful of where you're going to work. Can't stress this enough.
