re: Daylight Saving Time: Should Louisiana make this permanent?

don't think LA is far enough east in the time zone for it to work, I wouldn't like going to work in the dark, which would happen in DFW

not sure why the start and stop don't match though.

stops 6 weeks after equinox, starts only 2 weeks before, seems like it could start 6 weeks before and have the same amount of daylight

I actually like it being dark early around the holidays, seems like the way it should be.
