There was a national 2nd line for David Bowie. One in New Orleans.

His Collaborator Dale Griffin just died at 67

Will there be yet another national event? Why not?

The drummer for the great band Mott The Hoople

I actually prefer them to Bowie, as it happens

Wut? To each his own. I knew "All The Young Dudes" and some Ian Hunter solo stuff but that is it. I know so much Bowie. What did Motte do that I should check out?

You say this like you're Lt Columbo tripping up a suspect -- are the two statements contradictory?

Everything, but start with All The Young Dudes, Mott (my fave of their albums), and The Hoople

Ian Hunter's solo stuff is worth checking out too
