Three blocks away, Karen complains that her packages were late for delivery that day. 
For real though, being kind to people is not that hard and will uplift their day. Next time your local garbage crew rolls through your hood step outside and offer them a cold water or a can of soda. Watch how big they smile after you thank them for their hard work. Little stuff can make a big difference.

Everytime I have a chance to visit with my postman, I do. He's a super nice dude. Mid 50s. I've given him a water or an energy drink from time to time. Likes to talk politics, but in a nice way. Good dude.
