Thats how I can tell who has never stepped foot on a college campus as a student

Anyone who's taken a class in sociology or philosophy is well versed in the tenets of critical theory.

Count me as someone with a degree, who took both a sociology and a philosophy class (ethics, at that) albeit not as a psych/sociology major. I never once heard the term “critical race theory” in college.

So to your point.. yeah, it’s pretty easy to tell who either A) has never been in a college classroom or B) hasn’t been in one in 20+ years and has a distorted view of what college curriculums actually look like for the vast majority of students.

You heard post modernism or social constructionism.

CRT is focused branding of those Marxist ideas

You beat yourself in your own argument. Very impressive!

So would Marx argue that CRT is only a tool to keep the working class separated by race?

The whole “CRT is just Marxism” never makes a ton of sense.

Marx would argue that pushing CRT does divide the working-class based on race. CRT tells working-class whites that they are somehow inherently racist and has structural advantages based on their race. Marx would argue and did argue that it's class and the hoarding of capital by capitalists that keeps the entire working-class down. It don't matter if you're black or brown or white. Marx would reject the idea that white people are inherently racist.

The people pushing CRT are contemporary liberals or new dealers or great society folks who want to maintain capitalism for the most part. Marxists want to socialize wealth--the wealth created by capital. The point of Marxism is to take the tremendous productivity and wealth created by capitalism and have it benefit labor and the working-class.

The point of self-checkouts at Target and Wal-Mart is not to maximize profits by cutting labor costs--it's to put the greater productivity toward benefiting society,

So many of you are saying we need more STEM and less sociology, well put your money where your mouth is and take the surplus value created by self checkouts and put that toward STEM education and careers instead of saying bad things about philosophy and sociology. If you want STEM then pay for it by taking the extra-wealth created by technology.

But of course conservatives don't want to pay for STEM they would rather import STEM degrees from Asia and so on. Wake up people.
