Crick in my neck. UPDATE

I awoke with a crick in my neck this morning.
Tried stretching it out. No dice.
Tried doing some light (10 lbs) dumbbell mobility exercises. No improvement.
Tried standing under the shower as hot as I could take it. No good.
Just can’t seem to alleviate this pain. Hurts every time I try to turn my head, adjust my shoulders, or about half the time I move my right arm.
I’m currently about five beers into a couple of Stella Artois six-packs and took a couple of loritabs I had left over from shoulder surgery (other side) a couple of years ago. This is the best I’ve felt all day, but the pain is still there.
Any advice on getting rid of this crick? Sleep a certain way? If it’s still there tomorrow could a cortisone shot or something similar fix it?
ETA- I’m also eating my SO’s leftover chocolate cheesecake. She’ll bitch tomorrow evening when she goes to eat it, but right now I just don’t care:
UPDATE- Tried the stuff in the videos as I went to bed, and damn, it worked. Usually when this happens I prepare myself for a couple of days of limited mobility and pain, but I awoke a few minutes ago with almost total range of motion and nearly no pain.
Thanks for the advice.

PhysicalTherapyVideo on YouTube, "Click and Clack" These guys are full of dad jokes but their videos are insanely effective.
