Even though it’s pretty safe, the lack of walls would freak me out. Like a gust of wind would pick me up and over the side.

I did it for a while in the late 90's. I was mid to late 20's then and didn't give a frick. We stayed high all day and started drinking at lunch. We were hanging roof trusses on a new school in Fairhope area when I saw a co-worker fall 28 feet off a beam. He was the most experienced hand on the whole crew. I never went back after that day. It didn't kill the boy that fell but fricked him up bad. The back of his head hit the 12' block wall on the way down, they said that is what saved his life.

No, I have zero ironworking skills and would be fired within the first few hours on the job for incompetence.
