COSTCO! Quality, savings, and selection. Friend of mine is huge on sams/walmart because the ability to skip lines (check out on phone or something like that), but lines are not a bother for me and always get $ worth. Not to mention, cafe is way better at costco

Which company if you don't mind saying?

Costco gets pallets on pallets shipped there, and most have special packaging for the club stores. They buy so much and sell it cheaper than everyone so it's win-win-win.

regardless of the long lines at costco, they never seem to take too long

there always seem to be two people working each register and you fly through there

sorry, not putting that up but her company, although it gives the appearance of being a small company is in all 50 states and 12 countries, also helps that the company owner is close friends of the founder/owner of Costco, she's got a pretty sweet gig, a professional wino

ETA: Costco is also into making their own wine and booze, and they're not going at it on the cheap,, putting out some quality product

I used to have a Sam’s Club membership. It was used a lot until I moved to Lafayette. The warehouse was across town and a pain in the arse to get to. By that time, they always had the same shite for sale, never evolving or adding new products.
Then they had the controversy with the Sam’s CEO hating to have to deal with wypipo so we let our membership lapse. Just in time for the new Costco to open.

Like the other poster said, it’s like Target vs. Walmart.
Costco has MILFs, Sam’s has the morbidly obese and morbidly old. And both have no sense of awareness or direction.

I assume she's on the supplier side then, not distributor?

It has ups and downs, but it's a fun industry. I have my CSW and I'm studying for the CSS so I can tell people I work as a certified alcoholic.

they're an importer, I'd say the bulk of their wines are French, but they handle a little of everything, you're in the business?

Costco is the winner of the two.

I've been a member of both.

Yeah I'm distributor side in fine wine. I have a couple guesses of who she works for. I'm jealous of the wine collection you probably have at home.

Completely agree...they move REALLY fast. The Sams self scan option doesn't come close to being a reason to switch.

We have both a Costco and Sams Club membership.

I give the nod to Costco because they’re return policy is legendary and they have better people working there. But Sams has lower prices and better selections occasionally so we keep them both.

Heard from a paid wino friend there markups on wine are limited and set- that right?

IDK if you can refi a house with Sam's but we have with Costco twice and they beat out multiple national and local brokers on price both times.

It goes back and forth. Right now, Sams.

Their meat section has way better prices.
