Cortana Mall/Harwin Idea

Cortana mall will be dead in about a year or so. It's on the market for something like $7.5 Mil. I enjoy buying $5 pants and shirts at the Dillard's clearinghouse but know that it'll be gone here shortly.
Hopefully some fellow Houstonains can help me with logistics on this one...
I'm sure some of you have heard or been to Harwin Drive in Houston. It's essentially wholesale pricing on everything from rugs & art prints to sunglasses & cologne. I think the idea would do well at cortana. Cheap commercial rentals plus cheap merchandise equals jobs and taxable income. Just my two cents.

Its a nice thought. But no real "business" can survive. Cortana has been dead for 20 years, that is not a mall, that is the shell of a mall with basically a giant Goodwill and some fast food stores.
The Mall of Louisiana is dying as we speak, the little boulevard thing enhanced it for a year or two, but the physical mall is showing its age rapidly. Malls in general are dying very rapidly.
Basically even the a clearance store you speak of there margins are destroyed by theft and crime.
If they got $3.0 million I would be shocked. What will wind up happening is the city or state will step in from political pressure and put stuff that is in there now like a Virginia College or heavily subsidized government program.
