Cool volunteer services/social clubs in BR for women

Does anyone have suggestions for a retiree who is bored with their time?
its for a woman that needs some things to do in this day in age in her life. She can cook like no other but don't know where she can start to seek extracurricular activities.

well, she wouldn't have to be particularly devout to work with a church...most people there aren't. instead, churches are basically social clubs with the theme of religion.
maybe she could start doing some volunteer work at a hospital or something like that....maybe bake cakes for kids who happen to be in the hospital during their birthday?

Man, I'm not even gonna make jokes about your grandma. Gardening societies are fun. Church stuff if she's into that. What is she into? There's the Meet up app? and all kinds of Facebook groups.
