Loved The Right Stuff! Heard a while back they were thinking of a remake but there are just some classic movies that need to be left alone.

Met him at Safari Club expo in Dallas back in 2000 (ish)
Dude cursed like a sailor and was very down to earth.
My old man bet me he would ask him if he really wrecked the 104 variant that burned him up on the free fall down. .....pop sure the frick did too!
Yeager, just as cool as can be, answered..."frickin right I did" then laughed and talked about that, NASA and fishing in Alaska. Stayed prob 15 min then moved on and spent time talking to every vendor and saying thanks for coming.
Great memory...whenever I hear his name I think about blue collar excellence: what you can accomplish with humble hard work.
