I’ve said it before…when I worked in downstream and marketing for CVX, Mike was president of our business unit, best leadership I’ve experienced in the corporate world.

"Record Profit" means profit, not income. Can you read?

The record profit crap is low hanging fruit to economic illiterates. When oil prices are way above historical averages, of course profits are going to go up as well.

It's red meat to simps.

And the stock price took a big hit today too. Same with IBM yesterday. CVX crushes with record profits so down 4%+.

Meanwhile record profits were made. I get they have to do what's in the best interest of the stock holder, still it feels like a sting knowing they the gas prices were inflated.
