#commitment! Cell number ownership today has caught up with the way of courtship and marriage. "I'll sign up but i'm on standby for the next new and different".

Same number since '89, same carrier except for all the name changes they've gone through.

It was Cingular until AT&T bought em.

Cingular actually bought AT&T but kept the name because of branding overseas.

Ive had my same number since I first got a phone. One of these bad boys... Freshmen year of high school (2001)

The provider at the time was cingular, which was bought out by AT&T. Im a loyal mf, still have the unlimited data plan.

Let's see, I got my first cell phone when I was 17 and have had the same number the entire time. So 15 years and 1 number.

Early to mid 2k's was absolute frustration with customer service. I had never spoken on the phone with a service rep who spoke understandable english.

I had friends who left sprint. I for some reason have had excellent service with them and I've called customer service 3 times in 12 years.

Well admin was half the problem. I was in San Diego and sprint's coverage/reception was pure shite. That was the actual deal breaker.
