If it's something off the wall, then I won't post. But if it's a common reason then I don't see the problem with posting it. When we find out and it's something the family doesn't want spread, then I will be told at that point not to spread it and will respect their wishes.

I'm not a dick.

What the heck. I literally watched this show for the first time just this past Saturday and i remember thinking how happy he was when he told a Boudreaux and Thibodeaux joke.

Seemed like a pretty upbeat fella. Must have gotten some pretty bad news.

I live in Houma and have no idea who this is. Sad story.

My wife is very good friends with his daughter. Once I have confirmation of the "why" I can let y'all know. The family is obviously distraught right now and never saw this coming. They're extremely religious and are relying on that to get them through each day right now.

Well I’ve learned the details surrounding his suicide and I won’t post all of them out of respect for the family because it was so much more bizarre than I ever anticipated.

I’ll say this: it was very thought-out and he had planned it for a very long time. Every detail was planned. The previous post saying that he did it in a hospital bathroom after placing his donor card and ID on the counter was 100% correct.

Please keep the family in your prayers. As someone who was close to someone who committed suicide, I know the pain it brings to those left behind. Having said that, after learning the details of this situation, I truly can’t imagine the pain his family is going through and the unanswered questions they must have. Say a prayer for them, please.

So you just decided to bump a thread from 7 days ago to tell us this?

Thanks.

Yep. Basically he said I know something you don’t but hey I am not saying what I know. So why post anything?

Anyone with half a brain would suggest he did it because of a freak health condition. He was very outgoing and seem to be a great individual. He was a unicorn in south Louisiana. Few and far between 59 year olds physically fit as he was in south Louisiana. Ran into him more than once at the Thib fitness center.
