Oh, so you base your preferences of what looks good to you off of what comes stock on $60k cars.

Your opinion isn't worth a velvet painting of a whale and a dolphin getting it on.

Sweet move including Acura into that group of vehicles. I guess I know what you drive now. Is it lime green?

Anyone have experience or knowledge on the best way to clean matte black rims?

It seems to me that he's asking for advice on cleaning the rims, not wondering if everyone likes them.

ETA-Have never owned matte black rims.

When did I ask for approval?

I asked for help on proper cleaning methods. You popped in running your cock sucker.

Matte gunmetal?

I looked at a few gunmetal rims but I didn't think they would look good on my brown truck. They look sweet on the taco though.

Here's what they look like on the truck with trail grapplers. I'm plasti dipping both bumpers this weekend.

Believe it or not Gaston actually recommended the tires. New Cooper ST Maxx AT tires. They're higher than giraffe pussy but I think they are worth the $200 a piece I paid for them. Very aggressive for an AT tire.

Rims are Gun metal Teflon coated so I don't have to worry about the accumulation of brake dust like the normal matte black wheels

At the expense of coming off like an a-hole I'll try to put this in a sensitive light since I know you forked over a pretty penny for those.
I looked long and hard at the Nitto Trail grapplers. They only look good on one vehicle and that's a Jeep Wrangler. They wear tha frick out very quick and let's be honest. They will never be used like they were intended. They we eye put on your truck just for looks right?

Those Cooper ST Maxx tires are rated for 600000 miles and actually have wet traction capabilities which the Trail Grapplers do not. BE very careful with those tires on your truck on wet roads.

This is the first set of trail grappler's that I have put on this truck. I had Toyo open country MTs before this set. I put about 35,xxx miles on them before I wanted a new set. They probably had about 10,xxx left to go on them.

I have had 2 sets of trail grapplers before this and I think they're a little bit louder than other mud tires, but I really like the way they look, plus they do really well off road.

I actually work in the oil field. I am generally out on pipelines before they even clear the right of way. While the pipeline is being constructed I am on the right of way pretty often. My truck is put in four wheel drive more often than most people. On the caliche roads here, 10 ply tires are a must. Believe it or not, the sand is more dangerous than mud in my opinion. You can usually find the bottom of a mud hole. That's damn near impossible to do in the sand. If the tire breaks and starts to dig, immediately let off the gas, lock it in 4, and get on it.

I traded in my stock 18"s and the Toyo's when i bought the new set. Out the door after mounting and balance it was $2100. He waived the taxes because I paid cash. I figured $3,000+ when I started looking.

Try some EasyOff oven cleaner. That will certainly make them look much better.

Very nice. My buddy just got a '14 Silverado same color as yours. The interior for those models are a lot nicer than my body style.

He plasti-dipped the factory 20's that came on it. It took him redoing 2 of the rims for a second time, but it came out pretty clean. He's waiting until he needs new tires to buy aftermarket rims.
