Wonder Years was on TV during my really early childhood and in syndication after that. Boy Meets World ran through the rest of my childhood into becoming a teenager. Both GOATs

I was born in '86.. Didn't get a cell phone til I was 17 but remember life before it.

IMO a millennial is someone part of the age group that has become so reliant on cell phones and the Internet that they do not fathom communicating or looking up information any other way. For example, if I want to talk to someone I contact them through text/email or calling their cell phone. My parents might try a house phone, or go knock on their door, or write a letter even. That's pretty much not even something I consider.

If I want to look up information, the only option is to use the internet. My parents might suggest going to the library and reading a book as a serious option.

Millennial are impatient in that sense. They want things done immediately and with little effort.. Hence all the apps and websites that make balancing a checkbook, buying an airplane ticket, renting a movie, paying back your friends, or getting directions somewhere, the old fashioned ways, obsolete.

I'm definitely a millennial in this sense. And I imagine most people who spend a good portion of their day staring at their phones or reading the Internet are.
