I did grad school. Not really worth it in engineering unless it's paid for.

I swear I'm the exception

The couldn't convince me with 100k a year.
I have two presentations, a design notebook, and a paper between me and a diploma and the end of this terrible experience

i guess I'm kind of afraid of the real world too

Not me. Bring it on. It can't be worse than school.

Grad school ain't nothing like undergrad. No fun really. Classes too small and infrequent.
Real world is boring more than challenging, in my experience
Eta: you do have to give up midweek hunting

idk. a lot of people are pushing grad school for me.
i just want to stay young for a while. thought it'd be easier to do that being in school

Do it. I know a guy who did it and it paid off for him big time.
I just couldn't do it. I've worked my arse off the whole time I've been in school. I'm still pulling wrenches 40 hours a week. I want to either work or be in school. Both at the same time is horrible.

No, you're right. You're still in school, it's just different.
Worst part about being done for me is,
1. I can no longer hunt on weekdays
2. Work gets to be boring
Although that paycheck more than makes up for #2. No amount of money would make up for #1
