Did you really lose your home to foreclosure then move in with your mom and send her to a nursing home?

Please say no because that's fricking awful. I can not imagine a child being so horrible to their parent

she got sick!

first to the hospital, then to the home for now

til I get these knives out of my back

it's her 2nd visit to a nursing home...if you're keeping track

Nursing homes should be reserved for when you literally can't take care of them anymore

that's dumb. sounds like he's worn out. If he's taking care of her by himself or with just one other person, it's reasonable to move her to a nursing home.

He didn't say it was too hard to take care of her at all. Just that he's tired of dealing with the neighbors. Living in someone else's home usually comes with inconveniences. Price you pay for not having your own

Do you want to live in a nursing home? I doubt it. No one does because they aren't nice places

Number 1 : send that bitch a cease and desist letter. Would be smart to have an attorney write the demand letter for you and should only be 50 bucks if that.

Number 2: any cops that show up or dhs reps... Refuse them entry and refuse to answer questions. Simply tell them they are not welcome inside without a warrant. You will not answer questions without an attorney present.

Number 3: make sure your mom knows to do the same. No entry and no answers for cops or other officials.

Number 4: if the lady doesn't heed your demand letter, take her to court.

I get it. Hospitals send patients to nursing homes, rehab, etc as a "step down" from the hospital. They still need care but not the level of care that a hospital gives. My BIL was in a such a facility after his bad accident 2 years ago. He is in his 40's and is home again and almost completely back to normal.

2... can't do that on a wellness check

3. mom cannot walk, had a stroke and is in a wheel chair...and mom , is a few fries short of a happy meal, I couldn't count on her to make those decisions....she got ruined by her nazi like father, was petrified of him...I talked her into forgiving him 20yrs ago.
