Eric Hatlfield is challenging the incumbent and has posted the above video. He claims the Sheriff is "giving the finger to a dead guy in a church".

Most people who watch the full video think the context is that the Sheriff's office gave cases to the old DA, who happens to have passed recently, and nobody was ever charged. The conversation happened to take place in church, but during an election year, those are good places to assemble and not necessarily there for "worship".

He did flip the bird. There's really no defending that...
