1) Any big time major city will have bums downtown.

2) You could move yourself literally 1 mile NW/N/NE and find zero bums, as those areas are nice

3) You did not see 6 bums in 3 blocks

If you walk through the right parts of downtown, or even midtown for that matter, you can see dozens of bums within 3 blocks

I think the comment about wearing a bulletproof vest is ridiculous though. I go downtown all the time for work. I ride Marta from midtown to 5 points, and Garnett station by the prison because I have to go to city hall a lot. Just go about your business and you’ll be good.

There are definitely more bums than other cities though, New Orleans for sure. And like I said previously, it’s because Other cities bus their homeless to Atlanta more than anywhere else in the country. It’s pretty fricked up

Why is this hard to believe? I love Houston but it’s full of bums too. Really angers me that people won’t stop giving them money.
