Fuuuuuck. A dollar a square for 7/16 OSB! That is gonna put a serious dent in a lot of women's lighting and plumbing fixture allowances. She shows up at the lighting showroom and the salesman says you have $200. Per room??? No for the whole house.

People show up to her house warming and proclaim "those bare bulbs are very ahem avant garde".

Doesn't sound very good. But in general, I think this is for the best, because if problems of this kind arise, most often it means that there were certain problems in production, which most likely had a negative impact on the final product. In theory, this, of course, can be solved in several ways. For example, improvements to equipment in manufacturing can improve the quality of the products themselves. It is equally important to conduct independent testing in a laboratory. This, of course, can be done in production as well, if you have certain equipment, for example, analyzers. You can learn more about this hardware by going to this page: https://elvatech.com/applications/cement/ Yes, this path is clearly more expensive financially, but if you want to get a really good result, then it is unlikely that you will succeed without investment. In the end, you will get a better and more unique product, which, accordingly, can be sold at higher prices. This is a great advantage, as it will allow you to make big profits in the long run.

I bet there's going to be a bunch of sh*tty houses made with poorly-thought out/non-engineered "advanced" framing and thermoply cardboard sheathing to cut lumber costs in 2021. Hopefully they at least let in actual wood braces at the corners.

Do not buy one. Double if you're in a high potential wind area.

ETA: nothing wrong with advanced framing if they know how to do it correctly. Thermoply should be banned from houses that can be mortgaged.
