So it was below 60 the vast majority of the time between 2015 and 2021.

Drilling and pumping from the sweet spot in fields. 2020 into 2021 was a disaster for most indie oil companies. Everybody lost money.
Interesting that a now deceased friend foresaw a correction coming in 2019 and began selling off to prepare for $27 a barrel and had just completed he oil company restructuring (he operated no fields, just a minority partner globally) mid January 2020
