It’s weird seeing African animals among a Louisiana landscape and drainage canals. (Crepemyrtles, magnolia trees, etc)
At least at Audubon they match the habitat.

I agree. Our family enjoys it for what it is. It was never intended to be the San Diego Zoo. It’s still a fun little half day at a good price. And it will be much nicer after they finish the construction. People just like to shite on everything BR.

No, it’s been closed for at least a few years for this construction. It was nice.

I think they just this week closed the old entrance and it’s now what used to be the back. Haven’t been out yet to confirm.

I've heard the Lafayette/Broussard zoo is very nice.
